A key technology partner in the modernization of Poșta Română
Isitec International is the strategic technology partner for the largest logistics modernization program of Poșta Română, Romania’s national postal operator. This project aims to transform sorting and distribution operations through the industrial automation of logistics centers.
In the hubs of Oradea, Craiova, and Galați, Isitec deployed three Isisort+ wheel sorter systems, creating a unified national postal sorting network. These automated parcel sorting solutions operate at 1.2 m/s, with a capacity of up to 4,000 parcels per hour, and handle a wide range of formats, up to 700 mm.
Intelligent sorting technology at the heart of logistics performance
The solutions integrate a dynamic weighing system, multi-sided barcode reading, image capture, and dedicated correction stations for real-time handling of unreadable parcels. These features ensure complete traceability, accurate labeling, and a significant reduction in human errors.
